Bridget, Sarah, and I, along with Kevin Huff went to the Philles vs. Dodgers on this past Monday night, and had a great night. Thanks again Chris and Mark for the tickets! The Phils won, and even though they were calling for rain, it turned out to be a beautiful night. I can't wait to get back to another game.
Here is a beautiful picture of Sarah and Bridget. I can't believe what a wonderful young lady Sarah is growing into. We are very lucky parents, and although Emma will probably give us a run for ouw money, I know that they will both follow in Sarah's footsteps.
Happy Anniversary, Bridget! 12 years ago today you made me the happiest man in the world. Thanks for a wonderful life with you.

Emma Reads
Actually, this was Sarah having a little fun with Emma and the digital camera. She had Emma in all sorts of different poses, and she took about 30 or so pictures.

Maggie is 'Exasperated'

Saturday afternoon, and Bridget is sitting on the sofa with Maggie looking at the book pictured here. On one of the pages, there are pictures which tell a story, and then there are two faces pictured, one happy and one sad. Depending on the picture, the idea is to circle whether the person is happy or sad. On one particular page the picture is a little boy and his tricycle. One of the wheels fell off the trike, and so Bridget asked Maggie how the little boy was feeling. Maggie looked at the picture, and without missing a beat said "He's EXASPERATED." I was in the kitchen, and thought I mis-heard her, so I waited. Bridget must have been thinking the same thing, because she asked again "How is he feeling?" and Maggie said 'exasperated'. Bridget then said you're right Maggie, he is exasperated, so would that mean he's happy or sad? Of course at that point, it didn't matter whether Maggie got it right or wrong, she already knew what the correct word was in that situation.
Not bragging or anything, but I think Maggie (as well as our other children) is pretty darn smart. In twenty years or so, don't be surprised if you're reading some great literary novel by Maggie Mogee.
(She did pick sad by the way.)
